Beans that come from Central America primarily come from what is known as the "Bean Belt" due to its prime growing conditions for coffee. The countries that make up this "Bean Belt" are Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama.

The top countries in South America that are known for their coffee growing and exports are: Brazil and Colombia. Brazil is the leading coffee country in the world providing at least 1/4 of the total industry.
